About Redeemer

Redeemer is a middle-sized church with a good deal of small-church warmth and large-church ministry. Our vision calls us to:

invest in youth and children
widen our community service
deepen our faith and share it with others
attract the next generation of disciples

There’s so much activity in our various ministry groups that we’ve declared one Sunday each month a “meeting Sabbath” to allow for more fellowship. Much of our energy and resources goes to local outreach through hunger centers and other places on the “front lines” of economic and social justice issues. And through it all we recognize that our life together is not meant to satisfy us, but to change us—to transform us into an authentic community rich in Christ’s Spirit and committed to God’s purposes.

Inclement Weather Policy

The Consistory has adopted a policy to the effect that if the Westlake City Schools declare a snow day, then church programs will be cancelled and the office closed.
