Here’s what’s ahead at Church of the Redeemer UCC!
Every Thursday  Join local interfaith weekly on Thursdays for an interfaith prayer vigil, 4-4:45 p.m., outside the ICE field office, 925 Keynote Circle, Brooklyn Heights. Help local interfaith clergy stand up for our immigrant neighbors.
June 1 Pride Walk Meet in the Redeemer lot at 8:30 a.m. to carpool to Pilgrim Congregational UCC for breakfast beforehand. The walk begins at 11 a.m. We will walk with Pilgrim again this year. If you need a COR t-shirt, they are available in the office. The walk takes place in downtown Cleveland. Everyone had a blast last year — join us this year!
June 2 Heritage Sunday HAPPY 65th BIRTHDAY, CHURCH OF THE REDEEMER UCC! Join us as we celebrate our history and future with worship at 10:30 a.m. followed by a picnic potluck … and of course, Barb and Chuck Zaugg’s world-famous ZAUGG DOGS!
June 9 Pentecost Sunday: The UCC Strengthen the Church Offering On Pentecost, local UCC churches across the country collect the Strengthen the Church offering. Each day, visions and dreams are created in the hearts of many in the United Church of Christ. Through the Strengthen the Church offering, they can become a reality. As God calls our congregations to be “church” in new ways, gifts to Strengthen the Church helps to plant new churches, awaken new ideas in existing churches, and develop spiritual life in our youth and young adults. Because of this offering, many more will hear the good news that “God is still speaking.”
June 9 Pentecost Sunday: Confirmation Join us as we celebrate with this year’s class of confirmands during the 10:30 a.m. worship service and reception afterwards!
